Over that time I wrote two more books, "David's mark" and "Still With Eyes Closed" , during the time that I was writing these two books, I went back through "The Boy in The Wood" over 6 times to make needed corrections to grammar, spelling, missing words and filling in the back story of Kathy. Today October 14th 2014 I uploaded the new files to both Kindle and Createspace.
Is it prefect?
No.
Why?
"The Boy in The Wood" is a story too close to my heart, although the grammar, spelling and storyline are now fixed, the story will never be what I envisioned. I can't put on the paper what is in my heart about that part of my life. It just will never happen. "David's mark" is a factual telling of many of the events in my young life and as such it was easier to write. Even though "The Boy in The Wood" contains factual events, it is a story of fiction. However the three brothers in the story encompass myself and several boys I traveled with through my young life, as such I desire to protect them a great deal and in so doing I am limited in the amount of story telling I can do.
Nevertheless, "The Boy in The Wood" is now at a point that I can say I am willing to accept. I hope it is reflected in the sales.
The new updated files will not be ready for Kindle or Print until tomorrow 1o-15-2014, so if you intend to order please wait until then.
