You see it a lot in forums across the Internet and a lot on Microsoft Help Sites. Either on a new install, new computer, or it just seems to suddenly start.
You open the Windows Store, find the app you want, click or tap GET and NOTHING.
There are a lot of very complicated suggestions and they all appeared in the August Issue of Maximum PC. So here is a very simply idea that may fix it easy. Microsoft allows a maximum of 10 devices on one account. That includes devices you once had but forgot to delete from your MS account. So to explain, you have a laptop, desktop, and a tablet. But over the last couple of years you got rid of several devices. On all of them you logged into you MS account through the Store to get apps. So now you MS account is showing several devices.
Although Microsoft says the limit is 10, it kicks me out at 6 devices. So the fix is very easy. Log into you Microsoft account through Edge, navigate around until you find your devices and delete ONLY those you are no longer using. Once the unused devices are deleted then try to install Apps from the store again, it should work.
Why my account kicks me out at 6 I do not know, so if you see less than 10 do not think it's okay, go ahead and delete the ones you are not using.
