No Evictions During Covid19 Mean Lives in Danger

On a federal and state level rent evictions were placed on hold during the Covid19 outbreak to attempt to slow the spread. However this decision has had serious repercussions.
Case in point. I live on a dead end street and my driveway runs behind a 4 unit apartment complex. The far outer edge of the apartment complex is considered my driveway and any person that rents the back units are told this. Last December a couple rented one of the back apartment units. It was actually the sister of the man living in the apartment that was paying the rent, he or his "wife" were not. Within weeks it became clear this couple was trouble, their company blocked the entire parking lot and my driveway, if asked to move to allow exit or entry on two occasions their guest made threats or actions of threats. Several times their guest would park bumper to bumper to my car and even if asked to move would not. It reached the point that I now park on the side of the road.
Early on another tenet in the complex saw the couple with friends of theirs shooting up in a car. And often there are cars pulling up day and night and an exchange is made out of the window.
The woman proved to be a screamer and her use of profanity is shocking to any decent person.
As time pasted the couple allowed their family to move in, 6 adult people in a 1 open concept room studio apartment. No bedrooms at all. I overheard them openly selling pot to the mowers, and they have been seen snorting in the open parking lot. By the way, all of this is on video security cameras. At times there will be so many cars and even during restrictions they had 15 plus people. They have openly stolen, the goods are up against the apartment.
In one case another tenet overheard them through his window them talking about the guns they had hidden and were to have a shoot out if need be. They openly carry weapons on their hips, and one is on parole out of 2 counties. Last December the landlord promised they were in the process of eviction and would be out by January 26th, that day passed and nothing. Everyone in the neighborhood was hoping by the end of February they would be gone, but again nothing. By March the eviction restrictions were in place and THEY KNEW IT.
Since March there have been times when I questioned if I or my wife would wake up, if they would not break in and kill us. We can hear them talk, they spend most of their time outside, setting up chairs and tables in the parking lot using the entire lot for their gatherings. When they threaten they want you to hear.
Other tenets have also expressed fear and concern and yes the police have been called often and been here often. They are aware of their drug deals and stealing as well as the landlord.
On June 1st the eviction restrictions will be lifted, I hope they will be evicted. Unknowingly the restrictions not to evict has put others in greater danger.
