I had the privileged to read "Life in Black & White". It is a series of real life stories told from a Baltimore Street cop starting in the 1070's and continuing until the 2000's. It was an extremely interesting and many time funny read. The places his life took him and the people he encountered and the things he did worldwide were fascinating to read.
All in all, it is an excellent book and one I suggest. The writer, William Gordon, did not focus on the negatives aspects or what some might consider gross part of being a cop. Many of the stories are funny, lighthearted and a few are even warm. William was a prankster on the job (could not be one today) and because of that he kept the lives of his CO's very busy. I think you will enjoy this 5 star book.
