One was ERA proposed in the 1970's. I was surprised to learn it never was ratified, it never passed, so now I have to give up my seat on the lifeboat.
The second was an extension of an Article. In one Article it states that no elected offical may accept a title of nobility, or a title such as kink, prince, knight. Well Congress proposed that no citizen of America be allowed to accept a title of nobility as well. And if a citizen ever did their citizenship shall be stripped and they are to be removed from the county. Well it was put before the states and 2/3 passed it, it was ratified. When it went back to Congress and they were considering it someone made mention of the fact that Esquire is a title of nobility, the ratified amendment was never added. Why? Because every lawyer upon graduation gets the title of esquire, if congress added this it would mean that dvery lawyer would lose their citizenship.
