I asked the Marketplace rep about our payments to Community Health Alliance because my wife basically got nothing except Community Health Alliance causing us both a great deal of stress. She explained that the Marketplace was looking into that but I should not expect anything back from Community Health Alliance. I also asked her about the tax credit payout to Community Health Alliance, she simply stated it was being addressed. I know she can't reveal information about any action they may be taking agianst Community Health Alliance, but I really wanted to know.
So I can't tell anyone to drop Community Health Alliance and I'm not going to because I do not desire to be sued. But if you are experiencing problems you may want to investigate the matter for yourself. Ask questions, call the Marketplace go to healthcare.gov. If a life saving event comes up you may discover you have no coverage with Community Health Alliance. I am glad me and my wife asked questions from the very first month that things looked wrong.
So my son will be changing back to BCBS today and later I will assist some of my friends change back to BCBS. These are friends of mine, I told them about Community Health Alliance and then I had to go back and tell them I had gave some bad advice. I am thankful because my friends have been very kind to me and not casting blame on me.
This is frustrating but even though this is month 3 of dealing with Community Health Alliance it is now over for my wife.
As to the doctors that are accepting it, please consider your choice as you may not receive payment and your customers may be left holding a bill they can't afford.
