AT&T Altered Terms for $75 Walmart Gift Card

9/8/2018

AT&T Managed to disqualify me from my $75 Walmart Gift card. A Notice to All.

On 7-16-2018 I purchased a AT&T Prepaid phone with a $35 phone card from the Algood Tennessee Walmart. When I activated it I got an Alert Message on my AT&T phone account notifying me that after 2 more payments over $30 I would be able to get a $75 Walmart gift card. Awesome I thought, my wife is in need of several personal items I will give it to her.
On 8-7-2018 I changed my plan to a higher priced plan for more data, I was fearful that doing so may alter the chance for the Walmart gift card so I read the ENTIRE TOS from AT&T and Walmart and it did not mention anything about it affecting my card if I went to a higher priced plan. So on 8-7-2018 my 2nd payment was made, but I got no alert message from AT&T; in fact the old message vanished after I made my 2nd payment. So I figured after my 3rd payment it may work out. But to be sure I posted a message on AT&T forum’s page and was assured after my 3rd payment I would get my card link.
Then on 9-4-2018 AT&T withdrew my 3rd payment and I was shocked to see a new Alert Message on my AT&T account “Good Job You’re Just One Month Closer” to your $75 Walmart gift card. WHAT?
I posted another message on AT&T forum and got NO reply.
I do not now know if after making a 4th payment if I will make the deadline, but I do know either AT&T or Walmart found a way to take away or change the Terms of me getting my gift card.
AT&T customers get screenshots, save your messages, save receipts save everything in your dealings with AT&T.

In my blind trust of AT&T I did not take a screen shot after my 1st payment when the Alert Message said I had 2 more payments to go, that was before I changed plans.
Take Home Point: Don't change plans.

Incest Exposed in The Watts Family Line

9/7/2018

And now the rest of the story…
As I have been posting I had my DNA tested and have discovered and uncovered a great deal.
  1. No Native American in the Watts family line.
  2. Over 600+ Watts’ DNA tested with same results
  3. A bottleneck or congestion of Watts’ between Edward and William

So in the United States there are laws that prevent having your complete DNA Gnome medically analyzed, but countries outside the U.S. are not subject to these laws so I had my DNA analyzed by another means. Several times there was a recurring mutation with an odd name; I had to look it up…ARG!
At some point in the not to distant past of the Watts’ family the gene pool went shallow, very very very very very shallow, without detailed accurate family records the DNA can only tell most of the story but it is apparent that in the not so distant past the family DNA pool dropped to either father/daughter had a child, mother/son had a child, sister/brother had a child or first cousins. One or more of these occurred. In an earlier post I mentioned the muddy waters between Edward and William where EVERY Watts male was named John and the claim is that 3 of them were Cherokee. Those records are subjective due to oral tradition and user input to attach certain persons to certain persons. Some inconsistencies that showed up was that some of those John’s were the same ones in some Watts family trees, the father and son were the same simply because the user failed to look carefully at the data. Some of the John’s had several wives and the children were listed under wives different from other records. In other words of the 3 John’s between Edward and William you had many wives, different wives and children mixed up. One of the John’s had 4 wives and 2 overlapped, one was too  young to have born children, as she was 10 or 11 at the time she was given in marriage to the man named John, and it goes on.
It would take a professional to sort out that mess and someone without the preconceived idea of a Cherokee line and without using ancestry.com since it is riddled with error due to user input. Most ancestry sites have copied the same total train wreck of error, however if someone were to look over every record, compare side by side and attempt to sort out the wives with the children I believe it could be done but I believe what will happened will be disturbing.
Again the DNA facts are facts, if DNA from 600+ Watts’ says there is no Native American then something else happened between Edward and William. Did incest take place on a scale that children had to be passed off as another’s? Something awful and shameful took place during that time and no personal belief or oral tale is going to make it go away.

Breaking News: No Cherokee in Watts Family

9/5/2018

As my readers are aware I posted on this page a history of my family that I thought was correct. All my life I had believed I was Cherokee, at the least 1/16 or 1/32. I had been told it was through my father Carroll Watts > Then Wimpy line. Through the contact of the Wimpy family I now understand that was untrue.
But then recently I had the chance to do a 23andme.com test and I was expecting the Cherokee blood line or Native American. But then TOTAL SHOCK!
ZERO Native American, meaning zero Cherokee. Okay I thought 23andme.com made an error. But about 600+ of my family used 23andme.com to do the test, 1st cousins, 2nd, 3rd, aunts, up and down the family line…guess what ALL THE SAME. No Native American.
So I told my mom. Not possible she says, your dad is registered, your GRADPA, dad’s dad is. What? Wait I thought it was Winnie Dell Wimpy, no mom says it was William James Watts, your grandpa.
Okay, so be it, but 23andme.com could not make the exact same error 600+ times. So to ancestry.com I went, did an account, logged in and started to assemble.

Gregory Watts>Carroll Watts>William James Watts>Samuel Houston Watts>William A Watts ||||| Brick wall. John Watts? Chief John Watts? Cherokee Chief Little Tassel John Watts? All real people, but in my line?
If I took what I found at face value it would look like this.
William A Watts>John Joseph Watts (Chief)>John Watts (Interrupter – non white full Cherokee) BRICK WALL.
If you take what users at ancestry.com have filled in then the Watts name STOPS! With father of Chief John Watts, apparently he took the name for himself from another John Watts.

But, at the time of John Joseph Watts there are many John Watts’ and the census from Virginia and North Carolina list similar children. Also The John Watts’ listed even in the given trees on ancestry.com have several wives and the children of John Watts seem to be under different wives. The data surrounding John Joseph Watts is very muddy and I believe it has been made worse by a preconceived notion that there must be full blood Cherokee in this branch of the Watts family. It is very interesting that there are several other Watts families with the exact same name data that is bypassed.
A Watts on ancestry.com made a point to write up a story of Chief John Watts and that HE is part of the Watts true line. But they wrote it in such a way as to lead the reader to the conclusion they wanted, and to make the reader cast doubt on any other conclusion. The writer also made the statement, there are members of the Watts family trying to make it appear the Watts line is not through this Cherokee branch etc…they imply that such a conclusion is a forced one. However in the same write up they state that the data surrounding John Watts and his deep connection with the Watts family is suspect. Every story, every connection about the myths surrounding John Watts is oral, and on the site ancestry.com all a user has to do is alter the “wife of” and “children of” to take ones in a wrong direction.

So when I got my 23andme.com data I started to fill in my tree at ancestry.com and ran into that John Watts>John Watts>John Watts (Full blood no real last name Watts) problem. It simply met it was impossible considering the DNA data. So I ran the family backwards. I started from the Watts’ listing on ship passengers from England to the Colonies, the 1st families. No going from me back, but from the Watts’ forward and I started to get the exact same family names with same children.

Gregory Watts>Carroll Watts>William James Watts>Samuel Houston Watts>William A Watts> (Then indeed) John Joseph Watts (But NOT married to Jane, you see he had 2 may 3 wives and in the posted list the children jump form one wife to another, who ever had a preset family tree in mind.>John Watts (Indeed his father but apparently not the interrupter. So if this John Watts is not the interrupter then is John Joseph Watts the same that the Cherokee Watts are claiming? There are several listed with the same children names.) Father to John Watts>Francis Watts>Edward Watts (We are now in England.

The current forced Watts from Cherokee line has several issues.
  1. You must ignore the DNA evidence from 600+ Watts that are of this line who show NO Native American.
  2. You must accept that John Watts father of Chief John Watts gave up is Indian name and too the name Watts thus my Watts line started here in the 1700’s.
  3. You must accept that from Chief John Watts going back every male is a John Watts and much of their data overlaps, except what members have altered once noticed. It is apparent that at the point of Chief John Watts there are several John Watts’ with children with similar names and several wives. I think any one would ease into the Watts family but you must pick one that agrees with the data. Chief John Watts DOES NOT agree with the factual data now available.
  4. Much of the so called data is oral history passed down from one to another. My Cherokee stories were oral and passed down and proved incorrect.

For decades the Mormon’s stated they were direct descendants of the northern 10 Israeli tries, they had the genealogical records to prove it, they had oral history to prove it, they had…nothing. DNA toppled that belief and some died from holding on to the false idea. Now we are at another situation where the past must adapt to the facts.

How could this happen? Oral history. I suppose when the BIA opened up the Rolls people in Oklahoma were running to list. At that time no blood test, no DNA all oral. And guess what father to William Watts WAS a John Watts, well said one to another who’s to say it was not Chief John Watts? You see the rolls opened up April 26 1906 John Watts was 1725, 181 years, Now really in 1906, who could “prove” what? Since there are many John Watts’ in the early 1700’s and many of them had a son named William (extremely common names) who in 1906 was going to question say Samuel Watts that John Watts was not Chief John Watts? No one would have. In 1906 there was no way to “prove” that Chief John Watts was or was not the same John Watts that is in the Watts family line.
From 1906 the myth and story grew. Think about it, it would spread throughout the Watts family like a Doc Watts lie. It would grow tall and fat and it would become fact.
But now in 2018 we have DNA testing and guess what, NO NATIVE AMERICAN. So some of the Watts family is very upset, let me change this name here or alter this wife so her son is William, (Both of John’s wives are listed as giving birth to William). Oh if that don’t work let me just attack those who deny the Cherokee line through Chief John Watts, I’ll even call them…

Stop! Get over it. The Watts line through Samuel and William is not Cherokee, pick the other John Watts who fathered William who fathered Samuel. If the DNA data and the current altered past don’t match then the answer is simple, the oral history has been incorrect.

Watts is NOT Cherokee, at least this fork.

23andme.com & Me

9/1/2018

All my life I was raised as Cherokee. When the different Indian rolls were started in the early 1900’s my grandfather and grandmother registered as Cherokee (In the Missouri band and not on Dawes). Then my birth dad did and his children, under the same Missouri roll.
Today I got the results back on my 23andme Ancestry test; the results were upsetting and shocking. Three of my 1st cousins did the test (I learned after my results) and their results were the same, so 4 test could not result in the exact same error.
As it turned out I have no Native American blood in me at all. ZERO. NADA. Now imagine I’m 51 years old and have been taught and believed that I am Cherokee, to learn in 1 split second I am not. I am still in a state of numbness.
So what am I?
Almost 71% British, yes British.
Then Scottish, then French and a little less than 1% Nigerian.
From the Scottish I am of the Royal line of Scottish Kings, From the British I am of the same family as Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh, and from the French Marie Antoinette. I had known that my ancestors arrived in England from Normandy with the invasion of 1400 and fought in the Battle of Hastings, but after that I knew little, now I know more. The report did tell me that my family did arrive in England in the 1400’s and came over from Normandy, so that was confirmed. Since all current British can trace their families to that point it is reasonable. I suppose my family then married into or were part of the royal line already. I had known for years about the Scottish blood and the Scottish right of king, that was already known. I do not think Prince Phillip’s family has the right to the British throne so although there is royal rights they are not to the current ruling family.
I am disappointed, I would rather be Cherokee, and perhaps it is because my entire life belief has been such. I know I am still the same person who spit into that plastic tube before the test, but I no longer have the same ancestral beliefs or past. It has really altered my self view and my inward view.
Who am I?
